Hi Experts,
My question is quite simple. I want to get the last saved by user of a excel file through C#.
Is it possible with the following restrictions:
1. Excel Interop should not be used, as office will not be installed in the server in which this code is going to be run.
2. Any new dll installation is also recommended, as this needs to be done in multiple environments.
I have tried fileinfo, Shell32's GetDetailsOf but for no use.
I have considered option of using Macros to capture the same in the sheet as a data, but do not want to do it.
I believe it is possible as I can see this value in the details tab of the properties, So if you could see something you sure can get the same.
